Purpose
The Production Operative is responsible for assisting in the manufacturing packaging, and quality control of supplement products in line with Vita Manufacture's operational standards. The role ensures that production targets are met while maintaining high levels of hygiene, safety, and efficiency in a workspace.
What You’ll Do
Production Operations – Operating production machinery, following SOPs and ensuring efficient workflow
Quality Control – Inspecting products for defects, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
Packaging & Labelling – Packaging finished goods, applying labels correctly, and preparing for dispatch
Health & Safety Compliance – Adhering to workplace safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness in work areas.
Stock & Material Handling – Managing raw materials and reporting shortages.
Performance & Targets – Meeting production quotas, ensuring defective unit percentage remains low, and qualifying for performance bonuses.
What You’ll Bring [Use JDAF Details i.e., Spread of Skills and Analysis Required]
Must have attention to detail in handling production tasks
Requires basic problem-solving skills to troubleshoot minor production issues.
Ability to follow written and verbal instruction accurately.
Desired Skill and Experience
Previous experience in manufacturing and production role is preferred
Understanding of health and safety protocols in a production setting
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Must maintain a low defective unit percentage to meet performance standards.
Qualification and Education [Use JDAF Details i.e., Qualifications & Education]
Minimum GSCEs (or Equivalent) in English and Mathematics preferred
Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or food production is advantageous
