Purpose 

The Business Development Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying and 

securing new business opportunities. This role focuses on lead generation, client relationship 

management, and strategic market expansion. The manager will work closely with internal teams, 

such as Sales, Marketing, and Product Development, to develop and execute strategies that align with 

company goals.


What You’ll Do 

Lead Generation & Sales Growth 

• Identify and develop new B2B sales opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and 

industry research.

• Qualify potential leads and convert them into long-term business partners.

• Achieve and exceed revenue targets through effective sales strategies and negotiations.


Client Relationship Management

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customer needs, inquiries, and contract negotiations.

• Deliver personalized proposals and quotations based on client requirements.


Strategic Market Expansion 

• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities.

• Develop and execute business strategies to expand market presence.

• Collaborate with the New Product Development (NPD) team to create solutions tailored to 

client needs.


Proposal & Quotation Development

• Work closely with internal teams to prepare sales proposals, quotations, and product 

presentations.

• Ensure all pricing strategies align with company goals and industry standards.

CRM & Pipeline Management 

• Maintain accurate records of leads, opportunities, and customer interactions in a CRM system 

(e.g., Microsoft Dynamics 365).

• Monitor sales performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.

Networking & Industry Engagement 

• Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences.

• Develop partnerships with distributors, wholesalers, and key decision-makers in the industry.

 

What You’ll Bring 

• Strong communication skills, including email writing, cold calling, and follow-up strategies.

• Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.

• Ability to analyse market trends, evaluate customer needs, and develop sales strategies.

• Proficiency in CRM software (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred).


Desired Skill and Experience 

 • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development, B2B sales, or lead generation.

• Proven track record of cold calling, customer outreach, and revenue growth.

• Experience working alongside product development teams to align customer needs with 

product offerings.


Qualification and Education 

• Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.

• Additional certifications in Sales, Digital Marketing, or CRM software are a plus.
